Brass foil is often used in the decorative industry because of its golden appearance, as a protective or reinforcing material because of its hardness and impact resistance, and as a gasket material because of its wear resistance. Brass is also often used as an electrical heating material due to its electrical resistance properties. Due to the spherical structure of the rolled brass foil, the soft and hard state can be controlled by the annealing process, making it more suitable for a wide range of applications.
